I am a French national working as a Concept Artist with over 6 years of experience working in the Entertainment Industry, primarily in games and animation. I’m a reliable designer who is very focused on meeting client expectations and deadlines.
I am a team focused designer having worked in large teams with members from different disciplines, backgrounds, and cultures. I have learnt to be flexible with both my design process and style to best match the needs of the project.
Overall, I am a highly enthusiastic and passionate designer, always happy and willing to learn, and very excited to bring my experience and motivation to my team.
- Design 2D/3D environment and props from rough sketches and ideation to final rendered designs.
- Collaborated with producer, lead artist, animator, 3D artists and script writers to create designs that met the project requirements.
- Created mood board and references board to help with the art direction of the project and ensure the consistency of design language between all artists.
I worked on several short terms projects with different clients. The projects varied from short animated film, to child book illustration and early concept arts development for video game pitch.
My keys responsibilities for these projects were:
- Early explorations of designs for characters, props and environment through rough sketches with the use of the traditional medias, 2D digital medias and 3D.
- Create rendered designs for characters, props and environment, to set a clear art direction for a project and/or to help to sell the pitch of a project.
- Research and organize design boards and mood boards to help the clients to establish an art direction that fits their needs and their ressources.
- Actively communicate and be as transparent as possible with the clients and other artists (3D sculptors, rigging artists, animators, VFX artists etc) to ensure that the designs meet the projects expectations.
